Earn Rewards Easily

Just do some banking basics (we call them "qualifications") that you're probably already doing anyway. To earn your rewards, simply do the following activities and transactions in your Kasasa Cash account each monthly qualification cycle:

  • Have at least 12 debit card purchases post and settle
  • Be enrolled and receive eStatement notice
  • Have at least 1 direct deposit, 1 automatic payment (ACH), or have 1 bill pay post and settle

And that's all! Even if you don't meet your qualifications during the month, your Kasasa Cash account is free. Plus, you'll get our base rate of interest — and you can get back to earning your full rewards the very next month!

*Qualification Information: Account transactions and activities may take one or more days to post and settle to the account and all must do so during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in order to qualify for the account's rewards. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, debit card purchases processed by merchants and received by Main Street Bank as ATM transactions, PIN-based, signature based transactions, non-retail payment transactions, and purchases made with debit cards not issued by Main Street Bank. Transactions bundled together by merchants and received by our institution as a single transaction count as a single transaction for the purpose of earning account rewards. This account is intended to be the account holder's primary checking account in which payroll transactions and day-to-day spending activities occur. This includes, but is not limited to: grocery, gasoline, apparel, shopping, dining, and entertainment transactions. Commensurate with the spending activities identified above, we expect the accounts debit card to be used frequently throughout each month and for transaction amounts to reflect a wide dollar range. Small debit card transactions conducted on the same day at a single merchant and/or multiple transactions made during a condensed time period particularly near the end of a Monthly Qualification Cycle are not considered normal day-to-day spending behavior. These type of transactions appear to be conducted with the sole purpose of qualifying for the accounts rewards and thus will be deemed inappropriate and transactions and will not count toward earning the account's rewards. Main Street Bank reserves the right to determine if the account is being maintained for a purpose other than day-to-day, primary use. Account holders who persist in making debit card transactions in a calculated and limited fashion in order to meet their monthly qualifications may have their account converted to a different account or closed. "Monthly Qualification Cycle" means a period beginning one (1) business day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one (1) business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. Reward Information: When your Kasasa Cash account qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle, (1) balances up to $25,000.00 receive APY of 2.25%; and balances over $25,000.00 earn .25% interest rate on the portion of balance over $25,000.00, resulting in a range from .25% to 2.25% APY depending on the account's balance and (2) you will receive reimbursements max. $4.00 per single transaction for nationwide ATM withdrawal fees imposed by other financial institutions and incurred during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in which you qualified. An ATM receipt must be presented for reimbursements of individual ATM withdrawal fees of $4.01 or higher. We reimburse ATM withdrawal fees based on estimates when the withdrawal information we receive does not identify the ATM fee. If you have not received an appropriate reimbursement, we will adjust the reimbursement amount if we receive the transaction receipt within sixty (60) calendar days of the withdrawal transaction. When Kasasa Cash qualifications are not met, all balances in the account earn .05% APY and ATM withdrawal fees are not refunded. Interest and ATM withdrawal fee reimbursements will be credited to your Kasasa Cash account on the last day of the current statement cycle. APY = Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 04/13/2016. Rates and rewards are variable and may change after account is opened. Fees may reduce earnings.
